When you contact us
When you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, professional role and the content of your enquiry. We use it to handle your request and related communications. For enquiries concerning a potential contract with you, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries and communications with organisations’ contact persons, the basis is our legitimate interest in business communications under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Providing contact details is voluntary. Without the information needed to respond, however, we may be unable to handle your request. This website has no message submission form; email links open your own email application.
Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Only with your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR do we process a pseudonymous browser identifier, visited pages, time and interactions, traffic source and device information. The IP address is used for communication and to derive approximate location; according to Google, GA4 does not store it. We do not use advertising personalisation or Google Signals. Analytics is not used for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
The analytics cookies _ga and _ga_QT9RMQ5QZL are configured for a maximum of 180 days. We store your consent choice in browser local storage under vtz-analytics-consent-v1 for 180 days, as necessary storage of your preference. Withdraw consent using Cookie settings and Reject analytics. We then stop measurement and remove accessible analytics cookies on this domain. Withdrawal does not erase previously lawfully collected data.
In Google Analytics, detailed event data is retained for 2 months and user data for 14 months. Resetting retention on new activity is disabled. These settings do not limit most standard reports based on aggregated data.
Hosting and data recipients
Website hosting and corporate email are provided by IT Computers, s.r.o., company ID 27228541, Okružní 50, 273 08 Pchery, Czechia. Technical logs, such as IP address, request time and requested page, may be processed for server operation and security based on our legitimate interest in secure operation. These logs are retained as necessary for operation, troubleshooting and handling security incidents.
Google LLC in the USA and Google processors may access Analytics data. Transfers outside the EEA are governed by Google’s data processing terms and applicable safeguards, including standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy decision. Details and safeguards are available through the links below. Fonts and images load from this website. Map links open Google’s service only when clicked.
How long we keep your data
We retain correspondence data for the time needed to handle the request and related follow-up communications. Where correspondence concerns a contract, a legal obligation or legal claims, retention depends on the duration of that purpose, statutory retention requirements and applicable limitation periods. Once the purpose no longer applies, we delete the data unless further retention is required by law.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. Data portability applies to automated processing based on consent or a contract. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Send your requests to info@vtz-trade.cz. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection or another competent supervisory authority in the EU.
